Antisink is in continuous development, and we constantly strive to meet market needs with the best possible solutions, without compromising on quality, environmental responsibility or sustainability in the final product.

Our story

The idea behind Antisink and its products dates back to 1991. During this period, and in the years that followed, several lives were lost along the southern coast of Norway when vessels sank. One particular incident in Kvåsefjorden, a few nautical miles east of Kristiansand, made Antisink’s founder, Geir E. Karlsen, start thinking about how to keep vessels afloat when taking on water.

At the time, the idea remained just that. However, the downturn in the oil industry in 2016 led Karlsen, like many others in the sector, to lose his job. He then revisited the Antisink concept, and in January 2017, the company was founded. Since then, the Antisink team has grown, and the first products were launched in 2022.
